This month we’re heading up to the western edges of Harriman State Park, New York's second largest park, for a five-miler that includes two ponds, an old mine, the Valley of Boulders and a section of the Appalachian Trail. Bring your suit or a change of clothes cuz we might even have time for a dip!
Hike is limited to 15 participants. Please sign up below. Girl Gotta Hike is a women’s group. While we appreciate all encouraging and supportive souls as friends and partners, this hike is just for the ladies.
Transportation details: Well be taking the 8:30AM Short Line Bus out of Port Authority for this one and will have you back in Manhattan by mid afternoon. Please be sure to arrive at Port Authority with enough time to purchase your roundtrip tickets to Southfields, New York as unfortunately, the tickets are not available for purchase online. If you will be arriving by carpool, please let me know!
Bad Weather Policy: Most hikes will go on rain or shine. However, in the case of extreme weather such as lightning or high winds, I promise to keep you safe and re-schedule the hike for a later date.
