The Girl Gotta Hike Public Transit Series is a monthly-ish guided hike that is easily accessed by subway, train or bus from New York City. Get out of the city and into the woods without needing a car!

Terrain: a mix of town streets, former woods roads and some rocky footings on the ascents and descents

Hike Description: Bull Hill is a Girl Gotta Hike all-time favorite destination, and such a fun one too! It’s the perfect place for NYC locals and visitors to admire the beauty that lies a bit north of the big city. We’ll start and end our journey from the lovely and historic town of Cold Spring. It’s a quick trip from town to trail and soon enough we’ll be hiking high above it, soaking in some sweet Hudson Highlands views along the way. After hitting the ridge line, we’ll take the short loop back down and around, leaving us plenty of time to explore the ruins of the Cornish Estate, before completing our loop back to Main Street. We can even celebrate the season with our favorite brews, (beer &/or coffee) in cutie-pie Cold Spring before catching the train back to the city.
Each Public Transit Series trip will run with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 in order to ensure the health and safety of all guides and participants. If the minimum has not been met 24 hours ahead of trip, we will reach out and refund, reschedule or make alternate arrangements. Liability Waiver must be completed ahead of hike in order to participate.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 14 days or more prior to the start of your trip, you will receive a full refund, less a 10% non-refundable administration fee. If you cancel between 24 hours and 14 days ahead, you will receive a 50% refund. Anything less than 24-hours is ineligible for refund, unless trip is cancelled by Girl Gotta Hike, due to dangerous conditions or any other reason.
